On the 2nd Thursday of every month, union officers gather to discuss upcoming union matters. All members are invited to this monthly meeting, but officers and stewards are requested to attend so they can be informed in case their members have questions.
At the meeting, new members are sworn in after they have gone through their 90-calendar-day probationary period. Please fill out the union paperwork provided by your steward before attending your first meeting and being sworn in.

Earl F. Sweet Scholarship for Children & Grandchildren of SEIU 560 Members
APRIL 2026 DEADLINE
Several years ago, SEIU Local 560 established a permanent scholarship fund in honor of our longtime president, Earl F. Sweet, who passed away after decades of dedicated service to our union and the broader Dartmouth community.
We are currently working with our partners at the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, which manages the scholarship’s investments and application process.
The Earl F. Sweet Scholarship is available to the children and grandchildren of SEIU Local 560 members and is intended to support their educational goals while honoring Earl’s legacy of commitment, leadership, and service.

Community Lunch
President Sian Beilock '76a invites all members of the Dartmouth community to join her for a cook-out on the Green from 11:30am – 2:00pm. Come celebrate the return to campus by joining friends and coworkers for delicious food and live music!
Rain location will be 53 Commons.
